Fallout (the middle)

Fallout is written by Ellen Hopkins. As we left off at, you were meeting Hunter, Summer, and Autumn. All from different families and different last names. Of course it is the middle of the book and an issue has to occur. In each story of a character there is a difference but also a similarity. All of the children take drugs or smoke pot. There is always a bad influence, and that is the issue.

Hunter was adopted to his grandmother. Summer was adopted to another family. And Autumn is in foster care. Hunter has a usual life but he has a girlfriend that is not a good influence. Her name is Nikki. When reading the middle of the story, Nikki breaks up with Hunter. I thought that it was a good sign but sadly it wasn't. Nikki moved out of her apartment without him knowing. Summer has an okay life. She lives with her Aunt Cora and her grandpa. She has a her father in jail, again. And no mother. Autumn is probably, out of all three, is the depresses one. She describes her foster home with anger and frustration. It isn't a good balance for her.  All we know is that she has the most toughest role in the foster home.

As we are traveling closer and closer to the end, there will always be infernces and heartbreaks. From my point of view, Nikki and Hunter are done. Hunter doesn't realize it but there finished!
