Just Listen/Olive's Ocean (For last weekend and this Sunday)

Coming to the end of Just Listen, Owen is Annabel's love. Well in music. Instead of having Sophie around Owen is there for her. Mallory (owen's sister) loves Annabel. I mean she is crazy for Annabel. Even her friends are loving Annabel. Annabel is a model and has appeared in a good sum of commercials. But there is competition around. She didn't get into an advertisement which her mother really truly wanted for Annabel. But she will try her best.

Whitney is doing much better with her eating disorder. Mrs. Greene (Annabel's mom) put Whitney in therapy. Whitney thinks that therapy is probably the worst thing there is on the planet. Her therapist is telling her to grow a plant and see it grow. it sound preetty dub to me even. Kristen is off in colllege doing what she enjoys. Mrs. Greene and Mr. Greene are spending there anniversary spendig a weekend on a vacation. All is going well.

Olive's Ocean is written by Kevin Henkes. The main character isn't Olive, its Martha Boyle. Martha was in Olive Bastrow's class. Olive was a quiet girl. She didn't have a lot of friends at the time. Olive was a new kid. She loved bike riding. But when anacciedent happens to Olive her family cries. Leaving a note from Olive's notebook states things about Martha and if they were both friends.

Its summer vacation, 1 week from Olive's note. Martha thinks that its all her fault. Its sad what happened to Olive. But she cannot fix it. She wonders what Olive thought in her head about her. As the summer goes on she learns lessons. And she sees that life isn't all about being blind by whats out there. She experiences some ups and downs but she knows that she would've taken Olive with her on this trip. I cannot tell you what happened to Olive because that would be a unfair to the readers that haven't read this fantastic book. All in all, you should read this!

JUST LISTEN (THE MIDDLE PART)

As you all know Just Listen is written by Sarah Dessen. It us about the protagonist named Annabel Greene. Having Whitney going through the treatment and Kristen off to college Annabe4l feels left out. Its not easy to be in the Greene family. Annabel's mom is already depressed (again)! Its going down hill faster and faster as the Greene family reaches their breaking point!

Annabel has no luck with Sophie anymore. They got into a fist fight and that was the end of their relationship. But now she found Owen. He loves music. Its like, to him, apart of his "life". He can't live without ii. Owen has his own station, even. He doesn't listen to pop music. He listens to a different genre than any other student would not know of. Then there is Molly, Owen's little sister. Molly met Annabel when Owen gave her a ride home. Turns out Molly is a fan of Annabel's work, even her friends. To Annabel its cool to have a fan.

Their is an ending I may not  tell. But it does go very well. Not all stories are happy endings. Somenone or something has to end. Its life!

JUST LISTEN

Just Listen is written by the New York Times bestseller author, Sarah Dessen. Annabel Greene is the character that takes place of this time. She has two older sisters, Whitney & Kristen. She has a depressed mother and an uptight father. Her family looks like a typical American family. But if you read closely in between the lines you'll see the truth.

Kristen is older and has her life with no boyfriend, Whitney is constantly not eating and losing ton of weight. There is a difference in Whitney's personality. She still lives with her parents and she isn't 18 yet. There is a lot going on in chapter 5. Most I cannot tell you about. Annabel has a friend named Sophie. They are best friends. At least they were. Sophie doesn't like Annabel. Clarke, Annabel's other friend, doesn't like Annabel either or talks to her. Its all hail down to Owen. I cannot tell you yet but Annabel is once again happy.

Most things you know and most you don't but there are endings. Whitney has an eating disorder and all they can do now is wait until she gets out of her treatment. Nothing is going right for this year. Hold on tight and buckle up for Annable's rollercoaster!

Forever In Blue

The Fourth Summer of Sisterhood

Ann Brashares is the author of all the Sisterhood novels. In her novels she writes about four different girls that are friends but have different life styles. There is Lena, she loves painting but there is one thing bothering her, Kostos. They meet in Greece and feel in love but something went wrong, which Lena does not want to deal with. Then there is Carmen, she goes off to college to fallow her dream, acting. A "friend", more likely a user to Carmen, acts to be her friend and gets into a lot of trouble. Bridget is another one. For the summer she goes to the coast of Turkey for a dig and finds that her professor is likely to be hers. Then There is Tibby. She stays inner hometown with her boyfriend, Ryan, but when something foes wrong, Tibby leaves him behind in wonder of him.

The book starts off with the welcome meeting. Its where all the girls come together and decide who gets the pants first and who gets it last. The pants are like a scrapbook but you wear them. The pants are  a symbol to the girls. Sadly, Carmen couldn't make it. It was only the four of them. It was the ned of the school year and they really wanted to have everyone there. None could make it. Bridget was leaving off to Turkey, Lena was going to an art class away from their hometown and Tibby was there alone. Carmen had some family business that she couldn't come at all. Maybe their friendship wont last after all.

I would recommend the series of novels to a reader that enjoys to have fun in their reading. A person that likes to read about conflicts that sometimes can put you in a position that you wouldn't want to be in. Each and ever book Ann creates has a lesson that the reader has to find out!

The Road Not Taken

by Robert Frost

The Road Not Taken is written by Robert Frost. Its a poem about different paths or roads that you take. In this poem he states these paths but there is a catch! They are both the same. Imagine being one traveler and that traveler is a metaphor for being your life. It does matter which road you take, both will put you in the same position as you were before.

Having Robert Frost's poem emblem as two same roads had a good thought. In stanza 4 it stated " Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet Knowing how many leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back." This states that he does have a choice in whether he wants the first or the second path. In stanza 3 it also said " Then I took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear" This states that the paths do have something different, but they always have a similarity. In stanza 2 it stated " Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both , And be one traveler, Long I stood, And looked down one as far as I could, To where it bent in the undergrowth."  This clearly states that these paths are the same. The closer he gets the closer he realizes that they are the same. You can't judge a book by its cover!

All in all, the claim was set. My claim connects to me personally because even though they have the same map or a same destination it always depends on one person. You, the traveler, the one who takes either side. You can always have bumps in the road but it always connects to you! Only you.............

Sold

Sold is written by Patricia McCormick. It's about a main character girl named Lakshmi. She is thirteen years old. She lives with her family in a village in Nepal. Lakshmi's gfamily is poor but she isn't sad or depressed about being poor. She lives her life to the fullest. As the say what comes up must come down. And that's what happened to Lakshmi! Being poor isn't as easy in Nepal. In her eyes she sees butterflies and flowers blooming with the nice cool weather. It's really hot in Nepal. The temperatures fluctuate. In Lakshmi's family she has a step father not a biological father. Something's you just don't want to hear!

Sadly there was a hugde storm. It's called the Himalayan monsoons. It wiped away the family's crops away. Their crops brought the money in. Lakshmi dreams of working with the " rich " people and getting more money for her family. So her stepfather tells her to work for a rich person that he knows. She can get more money and they can afford more. As Lamshi's excitement fills the air, it might as well be her last time with her family. She comes to work and she's sold! For prostitution! All of it was a hudge lie! Everything was scary for Lakshmi. She scared to death. Luckily she made friends that were in the same position as Lakshmi. Do you think she will escape?

I know nothing yet but the beginning and the end. If  she comes home it will be a beautiful happy   ending for Lakshmi's famliy and her.

Fallout (this is maybe the last)

Sadly Hunter got back with Nikki. Hunter takes advantage of Nikki. He sleeps at her house and he thinks that whatever happens, Nikki will always take Hunter back. Right now, Hunter is sleeping in Nikki's house but in here living room. Nikki doesn't talk to Hunter like they used to be before but its getting better. Thanksgiving arrived in the Haskins and they all had dinner together. Hunters "grandma, mom", hunters "grandpa. dad" and Nikki. No Kristina, she is still in Reno with her drug-addict father!

Autumn is fine. She just found out that Aunt Cora is getting married, which worries her. She will be left with her silent "grandpa" for the rest of his time being alive. Its sad but she still moves on. Something happened to her though, and you would hate to be her. She's (spoiler alert) pregnant!! There goes her life. She hasn't told anyone yet about it. Autumn isn't happy at all. What will happen? Summer had a nice Thanksgiving party with her foster home family. They go out usually to a burger joint and order thanksgiving meals. Its the routine they do every time. Everything is well, I guess.

We will see the outcome. It might end up good or bad. Its all for Kristina and her dating issues. She is in contact with her children but not enough. There are hidden stories in each and every child's path of commitment. What is next?
